The Wayne County Criminal Defense Bar Association is an organization comprised of and empowered by attorneys who are willing to stand up for the Constitutional rights of individuals. The men and women lawyers of the WCCDBA are members of our community with the strength to stand up for the accused and challenge the police, the prosecution and even the courts on their behalf.
The American justice system simply would not work without the brave men and women of the defense bar who are willing to challenge the police, prosecution and courts while representing the accused. In these economically difficult times — especially in the Metropolitan Detroit region — an organized and active defense bar in Wayne County is essential.
The Wayne County Criminal Defense Association stands guard as an active defense bar that serves as an advocate for the defense attorneys who play critical (and often under-appreciated) roles in the administration of justice. The Wayne County Criminal Defense Association serves as a conduit for the exchange of information between the defense bar and the prosecuting attorneys.
